Re: Fuel cap stuck  (reply)
Discard the cork and that's it! No need to replace, and now your tank can vent normally.

Re: fuel pressure regulator cleaning/replacement  (reply)
I had a similar problem. Try closing the spark plug gap to .28. I have Accel coils on mine and it would feel like it was running out of fuel. I closed the gap and it woke the motor up. Also mine had about 34,000 on it when it would rev to 6,000 adn just ...

fuel pressure regulator cleaning/replacement  (topic)
Hey there guys, having trouble with my 82. The bike doesn't seem to want to rev past about 5-6k and as best i can tell it is a fuel problem. Spark is good and hot from aftermarket coils, and the airflow isn't obstructed/ turbo is spinning freely. Fuel ...

Re: Fuel cap stuck  (reply)
I ended up cleaning it out, there was a cork gasket inside that was falling apart. Should I replace this, it was even sucked down into the vent hole?

nevermind guys, I smacked it with a rubber mallet, and it came right off. I need to adjust the screws holding down the locking mechanism, they were binding up when the key was turned.

Fuel cap stuck  (topic)
Hey guys, So I go to get some gas, unlock the cap and it won't turn off. It's just like it's still locked even though I can turn the lock cylinder with the key, what do I do? Anyone got a gas cap of I have to brake it off?

Re: 82 dumping oil  (reply)
Could be the turbo but check the return line and scavenging pump first. If the return isn't working or pump isn't picking up the return oil it will leak terribly.

Sorry... (reply)
I don't know why he would make the statement. The T25 will boost at 3500 when driven by the exhaust volume of a 2.0l engine. So how fast would a 650cc engine need to turn in order to spool the turbo? Theoretical air flow for an engine is calculated by: ...

Positive, I don't mean to call anyone out but why would he say the t25 boosts around 3500-4000 if it actually didn't. I know that you have done the calculations but when it comes down to it, the "proof is in the pudding" as they say. How many times ...
