Hey guys,
I got the bike running, and man I can feel the turbo in first gear, it flys to about 60mph, then it stops. Even when I shift it won't go any higher than
about 60~70 mph. I removed the internals of the fuel check valve, got a new air filter, replaced the plugs and gapped them to .026". The old plugs were
white and chalky, indicating the bike is running lean, I think. The bike also seems to have oil coming from the turbo into the intake. The wastegate is

Most of you are familiar with the failing oil feed line check valve. After many inspections I believe I have finally determined the cause.

The valve is a simple ball check. What is not so simple is the molded rubber seal inside. When that seal deteriorates no amount of cleaning will make it work
again. The seal can crack, flake, or separate from the check valve body. The familiar drip follows.

runs perfect for about 10 minutes. Then when I slow down (phew) it doesn't want to idle and will kill. I have to run the starter for a minute or more to

shape. I'll change them this weekend.
In trying to determine the problem, I noticed that the vacuum line that goes from the surge tank to the fpr has a tee in it and the tee leads to a little
on-way valve that seems to act as a drain. I'm just wondering if the previous owner installed that or was it stock. My manual...
